Accessibility
Dixon Meadow Preserve is a treasure that is meant to be shared with everyone. As a natural area, the Preserve is subject to the impacts of weather, subsidence, and changes over time. This information should be viewed as a point-in-time overview of the conditions in the Preserve, with the understanding that these conditions, as in any natural area, may change at any time without notice to users from the Foundation. In providing the following information, we hope to equip our visitors to have the best experience possible while visiting Dixon Meadow Preserve.
Amenities
We have one ADA accessible parking area with an asphalt paved surface in our parking lot, which connects directly with the asphalt Dixon Meadow Preserve access path.
We have an electric golf cart (with a roof but no side walls) onsite that can be booked in advance for use (based on availability of a driver). The golf cart can only be driven by Whitemarsh Foundation authorized personnel. Bookings should be requested at least 4 weeks prior to the planned excursion; golf cart bookings cannot exceed one and a half (1.5) hours maximum. There is a three (3) guest maximum for golf cart excursions; please be aware that one guest seat faces forward (next to the driver) and the two rear seats face backward to the travel direction.
