Pack light for a quick 9-day escape in Costa Rica. With a relaxed pace, we enjoy wonderful food and comfortable lodging set amidst the Caribbean Rainforest and the Talamanca Highlands. Our visit is timed for the dry season, and with 3-night stays at both lodges (Selva Verde Lodge and Hotel Quelitales) you relax at the lodge, visit hotspots on-site, partake in birding ventures nearby, stalk nocturnal birds, and other critters.

An easy-going and comfortable tour, we will seek the animals and birds that make Costa Rica famous, including hummingbirds, toucans, trogons, motmots, with chances for the Resplendant Quetzal, and the “Blue Jeans” Frog. Plus we enjoy good coffee, fresh local fruits, all while taking in the magical landscapes of this famous “birder’s paradise”.
