Description

Join award-winning wildlife photographer and acclaimed author Glenn Mason for a photographic journey of autumn flora and wildlife, followed by a walk in the Preserve led by the Foundation’s resident birder Troy Bynum.

Learn how the season of harvest is a living sky of migrating birds, why the Foundation tends the Preserve like a garden, and why the rewilded Dixon Meadow is such an important link in preserving the local ecology of the Wissahickon and surrounding habitats that define our region.

Cost

This event is free to all participants. A donation of $15 is suggested to support the continuation and expansion of events at Dixon Meadow Preserve. See whitemarshfoundation.org to make a donation.

Note 

Parking is extremely scarce at Dixon Meadow Preserve. Carpooling is highly recommended if possible.
