Della Micah, former Director of College Counseling at Germantown Friends School, will give a presentation and a walk at the Preserve to educate on her support to preserve and protect the Monarch Butterfly. In recent years, there has been a decline in milkweed due to increased use of herbicides. Della uses the Dixon Meadow Preserve’s abundant amounts of milkweed to help this important butterfly thrive in our area.
