Guided Bird Walk – 11/8 @ 9 AM
Join local birder, wildlife photographer, and Whitemarsh Foundation’s Program Director Troy Bynum for a guided bird walk through the beautiful grounds of The Highland Mansion & Gardens. This leisurely walk is perfect for birders of all experience levels and offers a unique opportunity to experience the rich birdlife and natural beauty surrounding one of Whitemarsh Township’s most historic landmarks.
As you explore the property’s woodlands, gardens, and open landscapes, Troy will help participants identify birds by sight and sound while sharing fascinating insights into their behavior, migration, habitat needs, and the important role native landscapes play in supporting local wildlife.
This walk is free and open to all experience levels. A donation of $15 is suggested to support the continuation and expansion of educational programming at both The Highland Mansion & Gardens and Dixon Meadow Preserve.
