Kimberly G. Sheppard, executive director of the Whitemarsh Foundation, is also a founding board member and current president of the Whitemarsh Township Residents Association, one of the community organizations that negotiated the agreement with the developer of the Hill at Whitemarsh which led to the creation of the Whitemarsh Foundation. Kim is also a board member of the Planned Parenthood Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania, the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association, and, until her recent transition to executive director, a board member and vice chair of the Whitemarsh Foundation. Before getting involved in land preservation, Kim worked for more than 20 years in the broadcast industry. Kim is a resident of Whitemarsh Township.
