Hugh G. Moulton, Whitemarsh Foundation's founding chairman of the board, has more than 30 years' experience in the preservation field. A former partner at the law firm of Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads and senior executive with Alco Standard Corporation and Unisource Corporation, Hugh retired in 1999 to pursue his environmental preservation activities full time. He is a current board member and former president and treasurer of the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association; a former board member, chair and current trustee emeritus of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Nature Conservancy; and a current board member and vice chair of the Montgomery County Lands Trust. In addition, Hugh served as a member of the Whitemarsh Township Open Space Committee, which drafted the township's current open space strategic plan. Hugh is a resident of Whitemarsh Township.
